About the Role:

Monstronauts is seeking a proficient Unity Developer with a strong background in Unity and mobile game development. This role encompasses programming and coding high-quality 2D/3D mobile games, diagnosing and resolving software issues, ensuring adherence to content development standards, as well as crafting and implementing game updates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Design, develop, and uphold efficient, reusable, and reliable code architecture
  • Transform design ideas into practical software according to given requirements, complying with project plans, industry standards, and platform requirements
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other engineers to deliver high-quality gaming experiences
  • Address complex logical and developmental hurdles, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Optimize game functionalities for mobile devices, consoles, and varying PC hardware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues related to mobile game performance and functionality
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Keep up to date with techniques and technologies to improve app functionality and performance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • Profound knowledge of C#
  • Must be based and eligible to work in the Philippines.
  • Solid knowledge in mobile game development, demonstrating proficiency in memory management, performance optimization, and varied device user interfaces
  • Experience with integrations APIs and external systems
  • Experience developing UI for mobile applications in Unity
  • Familiarity with designing interactive applications for iOS, Android
  • Familiarity with scripting, animation, session management, and texture manipulation
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical mindset for identifying potential design flaws
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and work under tight deadlines
  • Keen interest in staying up to date with industry best practices, platform requirements, and innovations in techniques and technologies in game development
