The game loading into a black screen on start up is a known bug that we're currently trying to address. This is connected to issues with save files getting corrupted on iCloud. We can try to work around this by recovering your local save file:
How To Recover Your PP2+ Save File
- Clear out your old Potion Punch 2+ Save Files from iCloud. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Storage > Potion Punch 2+ > Delete Data From iCloud
- Open the game again to try loading up the local save file. If you are playing on multiple devices, try it on each one to find a local save that has not yet been corrupted.
- Check your save file and see if it's correct.
- If the above does not work, unfortunately your local save file has also been corrupted. Please contact us at support@monstronauts.com so we may assist you in recovering your progress.
*If you do not have iCloud, this may be a separate issue. Please update us and we'll try our best to recover your save file.
